'Just Grey', or rather, 'Chance of Color'?

All our stones come from the same river area, and therefore have more or less the same properties when it comes to type, smoothness, stone type and specific weight. However, no stone is the same! And that can be seen too! Therefore, we sell our stones in two types of sets. Below you can read about the differences (and similarities!) between these sets.

  • Our Just Grey Stones


    The differences

    - These stones are generally mainly gray in color. Stones with different colors certainly occur, but less often than in our 'Chance on Color' set.

    - The average size of stones is generally slightly smaller than in our other set. Our selection size for both sets is the same, but while the average stone length of the colored sets is usually between 6 and 7 centimeters in diameter, the average stone length of the gray stones is often between 5.5 and 6.5 cm.

    - Meer dynamische vormen. In deze set kom je meer stenen tegen met afwijkende vormen. Denk hierbij aan langwerpige stenen, minder ovalen stenen, etc.

  • Our Chance of Color stones


    The differences

    - These stones come from a batch with a huge variety of colors. This does not mean that with this set you are guaranteed stones as colorful as in the photo above. However, the chance that you will find stones with colors other than gray in this set (especially when you look at them wet!) is many times greater than in our 'Just Gray' set. The colors in this set are actually endless. That's the beauty of nature! Shades of green, but also blue, red, purple, white, yellow and brown; you can come across it all!

    - The average size of stones is generally slightly larger than in our Plain Gray set. Our selection size for both sets is the same, but while the average stone length of the gray sets is usually between 5.5 and 6.5 centimeters in diameter, the average stone length of the colored stones is often between 6 and 7 cm.

To our stones

Important: The following applies to all sets we sell: quality comes first! First of all in terms of stones, but also in terms of selection. However, this still concerns the manual selection of thousands of natural products. No rights can therefore be derived from the exact composition of our sets. 'Just Grey' sets with relatively many colored stones, 'Chance of Colour' sets that were actually quite 'grey', different sizes and shapes: it will all happen every now and then. After all, the stones come from the same region. We try to communicate as clearly as possible about our stones, but given the nature of the product, there will always be some difference in quality, we ask for your understanding!
